Laura Hunter
Laura was born in Adelaide, South Australia. She studied a Bachelor of Cultural Tourism at Flinders University in Adelaide for three years. This course included hands on experience with Renmark River Cruises on the Murray. Laura then boarded "The Ben, Joe and LauraBen, Joe and LauraGhan" train and headed for Alice Springs in 2003 where, today she runs the office at Bond Springs Station, manages Bond Springs Outback Retreat with Ben and is mum to the ‘lively’ Joe. She has been able to combine her love for bookwork and tourism in the one place.

Ben Heaslip
Ben is a born and bred "Territorian" growing up on Bond Springs Station. Ben, along with his brother and his two sisters, all received their primary education in the little old school room, which is also, along with all the Historic Buildings on Bond Springs, Heritage listed. Here a governess taught them the lessons broadcast from the ‘School of the Air,’ which is situated in Alice Springs. As they all reached secondary level it was time to go to boarding school.  Ben travelled to Adelaide in South Australia, where he attended Price Alfred College boarding school.

Ben has lived most of his life on the station except for a stint away travelling, working and exploring the world. He spent three years based in Sydney marketing Bond Springs Outback Retreat to both the retail and inbound market and gaining valuable experience in the travel industry. Ben is now fully involved in the running of the successful outback cattle station, where Poll Hereford cattle are bred, as well, he  co-manages Bond Springs Outback Retreat with Laura. Ben is also an accomplished singer, songwriter and musician playing guitar and drums. As 'Ben Slip' he performs and records his own compositions and has cut several compact discs.
